Union Bank of India (here in after called the Bank), a leading listed Public Sector Bank with head office in Mumbai and having pan India, as well as, overseas presence, invites online applications for various posts in specialized segment. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The applicants intending to apply should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria specified herein before applying. It should be noted that the eligibility criteria specified herein is the basic criteria for applying for the posts. However, merely applying for / appearing for and/or qualifying at any stage of selection process for the posts does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment / confer right on him / her for appointment in the Bank.
(A) Nationality / Citizenship:
An applicant must either be
(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee, who migrated to India before 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan / Burma / Sri Lanka / East African countries of Kenya / Uganda / the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) / Zambia / Malawi / Zaire / Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) / (iii) / (iv) or (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India before the date of this notification.

Educational Qualification and Post Qualification Work Experience

POSTCODE 01: 11 Vacancies of Forex Officer (MMGS-II) 

Age: Minimum : 20 Years Maximum : 35 Years Educational Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from a University / Institution / Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
2. Post Graduate Diploma in International Banking from a University / Institution / Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
or MBA with specialization in International Banking from a University / Institution / Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
3. Literacy in Computer Operations and word processing / Computer skills supported by Certificate from a recognized institution.
Post Qualification Work Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in Forex Department / Trade Finance Department in a Public Sector Bank / Private Sector Bank / Financial Institution / listed Corporates. Job Profile:
>> Processing of export, import, remittance documents as per foreign trade policy, FEMA guidelines, ICC guidelines, Bank's guidelines and other regulatory guidelines.
>> Working on Bank's Finacle platform including Trade Finance package and other computer package relating to foreign exchange transactions.
>> General supervisory activities.

POSTCODE 02: 36 Vacancies of Forex Officer (JMGS-I) 

Age: Minimum : 20 Years Maximum : 30 Years Educational Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from a University / Institution / Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
2. Post Graduate Diploma in International Banking from a University / Institution / Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
or MBA with specialization in International Banking from a University / Institution / Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies.
3. Literacy in Computer Operations and word processing / Computer skills supported by Certificate from a recognized institution.
Post Qualification Work Experience: One year experience in Forex Department / Trade Finance Department in a Scheduled Commercial Bank / Financial Institution / listed Corporates is preferable. Job Profile:
>>Processing of export, import, remittance documents as per foreign trade policy, FEMA guidelines, ICC guidelines, Bank's guidelines and other regulatory guidelines.
>>Working on Bank's Finacle platform including Trade Finance package and other computer package relating to foreign exchange transactions.
>>General supervisory activities.

POSTCODE 03: 02 Vacancies of Economist (JMGS-I) 

Age: Minimum : 20 Years Maximum : 30 Years Educational Qualifications: Bachelor‟s Degree with minimum 55% marks and the applicant should have studied Economics as one of the major subjects in graduation from a University / Institution / Board recognized by Govt. of India / approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies. Job Profile:
>>Tracking of macroeconomic developments with focus on monetary & fiscal policies;
>>To study sectoral trends in banking, map these with business level of the Bank and providing decision support inputs.
>>Banking reports explaining vital trends in the industry/States/Regions etc. and recommendation of strategies based on such studies;
>>Preparation of Business strategies of the Bank;
>>Business Analytics;

>>Balance Sheet Management; to study and suggest right mix of business in order to maximize risk adjusted return in synchronization with industry based projections and future trends.
